Harley B. Servies, 82, of Van Bibber Lake, died at 5 p.m. Monday in Hendricks County Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of the New Market Christian Church and Ladoga Masonic Lodge. Born Dec. 2, 1893, in Montgomery County, he was a son of John and Mary Johnson Servies. He was married to Lorna Barker who is deceased. Surviving are two sons, Dewey of Crawfordsville and Marvin of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Nancy) Price and Mrs. Wilfred (Betty) Williams, both of Rt. 1, Greencastle, and Mrs. Jerry (Dorothy) Vaughn of Lavonia, Mich.; a brother, Foster of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Two brothers, a sister and one grandchild are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Powers Funeral Home at New Market with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.--waw
